PTC series SACMI presses - highly suitable for crown cap manufacturing - are the outcome of SACMI's long-standing experience in this industry.

The maximum sheet size able to be processed with PTC series presses allows dramatically lower costs and, consequently, a major reduction in the end cost of the product and extremely short ROI times. The outstanding productivity and number of die punches (arranged on 2 rows) puts PTC presses at the top of the equipment range when it comes to output rates.

The PTC600 enhances the basic characteristics that made the early PTV019 press models the top-of-the range crown cap manufacturing equipment.

PTC600 stands out on account of:

  • electronically controlled feeding system, from pallets of pre-decorated sheets
  • automatic adjustment of sheet position, thanks to the CVS PTC vision system available as a premium feature
  • very friendly HMI, purposely designed and produced by SACMI, focusing on the operator needs
  • new generation STT027 multi-punch die set, specifically designed to minimize the typical defects of crown cap shell

The decoration alignment is no longer performed by the operator; the CVS PTC vision system (available as a premium feature) detects the decoration offset of each fed sheet, and self-tunes their clamping position accordingly

Easier access to the upper and inner areas, results in faster and easier maintenance

Safety guards with improved access and ergonomics

Sheets pallets can be positioned with ease; the sheets feeder handling system is even more efficient compensating possible pallets malposition

SACMI INSPECTION SYSTEM

The PTC600 is equipped with the CVS PTC inspection system, worldwide known for its reliability and ease of use.
The CVS PTC detects the decoration position in respect the metal sheet, ensuring that the press positioning system corrects the sheet position, prior clamping it.
The CVS PTC synergy ensures to blank the shell with perfectly centred decoration, without operator intervention.
Please note, this feature also ensures optimal embossing results.
