The brand is famous all around the world for its quality Sanitaryware and Tableware. With the latest project destined for its base at Merzig, Villeroy & Boch chooses SAMA solution for maximum versatility and performance.

Villeroy & Boch, a symbol of elegance, quality and innovative design since 1748, and renowned worldwide in the Sanitaryware and Tableware sectors, has recently installed two new SACMI-SAMA PHO 451 Green isostatic presses.

The supply contract has been successfully completed with the start-up of both presses, complete with automatic finishing, at the factory in Merzig, one of the Group’s four production plants in Germany.

The numerous advantages of the solution include the high level of versatility offered by the SAMA presses which can operate both with vacuum or pressure filling system and with easy tool change-over and the possibility to install any type of tool on the market, whether it is supplied by SAMA or a third party.

One of the two new presses has been connected to the existing finishing machine, whereas the second press has been supplied together with an RFM. This is the exclusive, simple and efficient SAMA solution for finishing round articles. Furthermore, the system is equipped with an off moulding device to facilitate the demoulding of deep dishes.
The new presses are provided with the latest generation solutions to minimize consumption, reduced by more than a third compared to the previous technology.

With a history going back 275 years the Villeroy&Boch brand is a famous European manufacturer. We are proud to enjoy a long-standing partnership with this Group which has chosen SAMA technology for Tableware and complete SACMI solutions for Sanitaryware many times over the years.
